TerraScan 024.016 introduces Occlusion as an option to the Borders field in TerraScan Display Mode. This enhanced point cloud visualization is powered by screen space ambient occlusion and enables elevation differences to be seen much more clearly. The effectiveness of the Occlusion setting is dependent on point density, so it is recommended to use Relative for the Weight field in Display Mode. This ensures better visualizations when viewing the point cloud from varying distances while Occlusion is used.

You can customize the default Display Mode settings through the Point display settings to suit your preference.
