Terrasolid is pleased to recognize our colleague, Dr. Anna Shcherbacheva, who has been named a Geospatial World Rising Star 2026

Anna’s professional path spans from applied mathematical modeling across diverse domains to her current work in GeoAI at Terrasolid, where she joined in 2024. Prior to this, she developed her expertise in research-oriented AI applications for LiDAR data at NLS Finnish Geospatial Research Institute FGI.

At Terrasolid, Anna contributes to the development of Machine Learning methods for object detection, tree species classification, and instance segmentation, alongside advancing tools for working with complex, unstructured 3D data.

The Geospatial World Rising Stars initiative by Geospatial World highlights emerging professionals shaping the future of geospatial technology. The award ceremony took place during Geospatial World Forum 2026 in Amsterdam.
