Training: Feature Extraction Basics of working with Terrasolid software. Introduces and explains a common processing workflow for extracting objects from point cloud e.g. ground, buildings and paint markings. This session is suitable for beginners. - Data import and visualization - Point cloud classification - Object vectorization - Digital elevation model generation from the point cloud In this training the instructor will be using software on the Bentley platform. The workflow can be fully run on supported Spatix platform. A recording of the session will be sent afterwards to the email address given in registration. In registration approval Terrasolid maintenance customers are prioritized. Please use company domain email in registration. Other registrations may be denied. Please prepare for the training session beforehand. This session is a hands-on training, so you are expected to follow steps shown by the instructor. - Install the latest version of TerraScan and TerraModeler to your computer, full or UAV version both work for this training. Training: Ground Modelling & Volume Computation An overview of DEM, and volume computation tools and methods with TerraModeler and TerraScan. Options and examples for computing the volumes of scanned features, like stockpiles, and evaluating the cut volume between CAD design and the scanned ground. - Classify and filter ground points - Produce digital elevation models (DEM) - Compute stockpile volumes directly from the point cloud. - Identify volumetric changes between two scans. - Compute volume of a designed trench. - Report and visualize the computation results In this training the instructor will be using software on the Bentley MicroStation. The workflow can be fully run on Spatix platform. Training: TLS Data Classification and End Products This training focuses on processing LiDAR point cloud data captured by Terrestrial Laser Scanners (TLS). TerraScan and TerraModeler are used to - read in point cloud data in E57 format - validate georeferencing using a WMS background map - merge multiple scans using TerraScan 026.016 individual scans project blocks, see release notes: https://terrasolid.com/release-notes/ - classify point cloud - export classified point cloud - export ground surface model in .dxf format The end products consists of classified and merged point clouds and ground surface models. Note! This session does not include TLS matching work flows. The input point cloud data is expected to be correctly georeferenced beforehand. Install the latest version of TerraScan (026.016 at least) for the E57 support in project scale. Please register to this training using your company email address. Other registrations may be denied. Prepaid training recordings are free for all registrants.

All registrations will be viewed and separately approved. Please use company email address to speed up the approval.
