Read / Rails
Read / Rails command reads text files that have been created in an automatic process for extracting rails. See Find rails macro action for more information about automatic rail in batch mode.
The rails are drawn as 3D line string elements into the CAD file. The line string elements are drawn on the active level using the active color, line width, and line style settings of the CAD file.
To read rails into the CAD file:
1. Select Read / Rails command from the Tools pulldown menu.
This opens the Rail files dialog, a standard dialog for opening files.
2. Select rail text files and click Open.
This reads the text files and draws the wires into the CAD file.
You can undo the action by using the Undo command of the CAD platform.
