File pulldown menu
The commands of the File pulldown menu are used to create, open, save, backup and close Spatix files and to close the Spatix application. Most of the commands work like the common functions of any Windows application.
Spatix files have the default extension .SPX.

Save changes to an exiting Spatix file. This includes changes to elements, element attributes and application data. |

Backup |
Create a backup Spatix file. This does not close the original file. |

Close the Spatix file. The Spatix application stays open. |
Spatix asks whether to save the file or not, if there are unsaved changes. |
