About this User Guide
This document serves as a user guide for Spatix. Spatix is a Windows application.
Document conventions
The following conventions and symbols appear in this guide:
•Data click - click on the data button, usually the left mouse button.
•Reset click - click on the reset button, usually the right mouse button.
•< > - angle brackets are used to refer to keyboard keys, for example, <Enter>.
•OR - alternate procedures or steps in a procedure.
•C:/UTIL/SPATIX - paths to directories of files on a hard disk are written with capital letters.
• - introduces the beginning of a workflow.
Notes and hints are highlighted in light blue boxes.
For each command or tool in Spatix, the corresponding MicroStation function is listed, whenever applicable. The location of a function is listed according to the default of MicroStation Map PowerView CONNECT provided by Bentley. Note that many functions are available at several places and nearly everything can be customized.
